LACUX

Welcome to Lacux, the group for the Language and Culture Exchange events at Linköping University. Lacux is a collaboration between the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), The Student Association of Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering (Y), The Student Association of Industrial Engineering and Management (I), Association of Mechanical Engineering (M) and The Student Association for Business and Economics (ELIN) that started in autumn 2011.

The purpose is to bring together international students and Swedish students through different, fun events to offer you the possibility to practice your skills in Swedish, English, German, Spanish or French. The events are also a great way to get to know more about different cultures and meet a ton of interesting people with different backgrounds.

The concept is that half of the time are dedicated to speaking either German, Spanish och French - the other half to either English or Swedish.

Due to the limitation of languages it’s convenient if you fit into one of the two descriptions listed below:
- German, Spanish or French as native language and want to practice English or Swedish
- Studying/want to practice German, Spanish or French (this applies for Swedish AND international students)

So how can you participate in these events?
There’s an event every second week (even weeks) on Mondays. Information about when and where will be posted on on this website, ESN Linköping's Facebook group and the Lacux Facebookpage (see links listed below). It would be great if you RSVP as attending on Lacux's Facebookpage, so that we can estimate the number of people attending.
